European Sustainable Energy Week 2019

From 17 to 21 June 2019 the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (EASME) in cooperation with Directorate-General ENERGY (both European Commission) organised the EU Sustainable Energy Week in Brussels.
This year’s theme was “Shaping Europe’s Energy Future”. SCORE beneficiaries were represented by Claire Gauthier and Felicia van Tulder from the project coordinator EUV as well as Monika Kosinska from FedKon and Andy Deacon from Climate Alliance. They participated with the aim to gather background information on a variety of energy related topics, research funding programmes, to exchange information and to connect with other participants with regards to future project applications.
The European Sustainable Energy Week is the largest European event on renewable energy and energy efficiency. Participants include public authorities, energy agencies, industry associations, companies, civil society organisations, research institutes and the media. This year more than 4,000 participants had the opportunity to follow over 90 policy sessions and to meet other participants in the networking village.
Felicia van Tulder and Claire Gauthier attended the conferences to increase visibility of young female researchers of Brandenburg universities as well as to strengthen existing and establish new networks especially in terms of dissemination and communication of project results.
