Frank Bold: “Energy communities - determinants in Polish law”

On 21 June 2021, Frank Bold held a strategic meeting that presented the legal situation of Renewable Energy Communities in Poland – and concluded with various outlooks and options.

Prof Jens Lowitzsch, SCORE coordinator from the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), offered an insight into the concept of "Supporting Consumer (Co-)Ownership in Renewable Energy" (CSOP). Using the example of a bio-energy cluster in Słupsk, Lowitzsch demonstrated the connection of a highly efficient cogeneration plant, a smart green city and different raw materials and energy sources such as biomass and photovoltaic systems.
